Paperback.  First edition.  Catalogue for a retrospective of Coker’s realist painting in 1973.  As Frederick Gore writes in his detailed introduction: ‘Peter Coker began as a painter in the fifties, before the sunburst of American abstraction pushed into the shade a realistic movement which seemed to offer at least one clear main direction to European art’.  Condition: Rear cover a little dust marked and remnants of an old price label to bottom right corner, otherwise very good.
