Roy Lichtenstein (1968)

Catalogue to accompany the major show of Lichtenstein’s work at the Tate in 1968. Surveys the artist’s work over six years, and includes not only the well-known works derived from strip comics and advertising imagery, but also the several subsequent series – the giant brushstrokes, the classical ruins, the land sea and skyscapes, the adaptitons of famous works by others. Scarce in dust-wrapper. Condition: 1inch closed tear to top right corner of dust-wrapper’s front panel. Dust-wrapper a little toned along top edge of rea panel and along top edges of both front and rear flaps.
