Features Freedman’s ‘Lithography : A Painter’s Excursion’, as well as James Laver’s article in praise of both Freedman and Paul Nash, ‘Two Drawings’. Other essays include John Carter’s ‘The Woodcut Calligraphy of Reynolds Stone, Desmond Flower’s ‘Modern English Handwriting’, and The New Tauchnitz Format by Harry Carter (including a four-page inset of Tauchnitz covers). This issue contains lithographs by C. Bouda, K. Svolinsky and Barnett Freedman, together with colour keys. There is are also collotype reproductions of a drawings by Paul Nash and Barnett Freedman.
