‘Swimmers’ by Gary Ratushniak

As with several prints in the Grosvenor School – see The Eight, Cyril Power, for instance – the shapes here employed can be likened to organic forms; the swimmers a seed pod about to unfurl. You also get a sense of expertise: each swimmer a mirror image of the next – these are well drilled sportsmen about to spring into action.
