The Evill/Frost Collection is a renowned assemblage of 20th-century British art, curated by London solicitor Wilfrid Evill between 1925 and 1960. Following Evill’s death in 1963, the collection was bequeathed to his associate, Honor Frost, a pioneering marine archaeologist. In 2011, the executors of Frost’s estate consigned the collection to Sotheby’s, with proceeds designated for charitable causes./ The auction catalogues for these sales provide detailed information about each lot, including provenance, exhibition history, and scholarly analysis. They serve as valuable resources for collectors, researchers, and enthusiasts of British art and decorative arts.

Very good condition, some minor creasing to cover edges, small nick to top of rear cover of volume three.
