Published to accompany the 1996 exhibition Yasumasa Morimura: The Sickness unto Beauty at the Yokohama Museum of Art. Text in Japanese and English with essays by Tetsuro Kagesato, Taro Amano, Yasuo Kobayashi, Kaori Chino and Norman Bryson. Illustrated throughout with 48 colour plates, 8 duotone plates, colour installation views and numerous black-and-white illustrations. Includes a biography, bibliography and exhibition checklist. With original obi (wrap-around band). Signed and inscribed by Morimura on title page. Condition: glossy card wrappers with a light creasing to upper edge of the front cover and minor rubbing to the head of the spine. The original wrap-around obi band has a small closed tear at the spine.
