Das Plakat (November 1915)

November 1915 issue of Das Plakat, one of the most important magazines of the early 20th century focusing on poster art and commercial graphic design. It helped shape and promote the Plakatstil (“Poster Style”) and Sachplakat (“Object Poster”) design movements. Profusely illustrated in black and white with numerous colour tipped-in plates and some colour fold-outs. Condition: chipping to bottom edge of dust-wrapper’s rear panel, otherwise fine.
