3 full-colour lithographs from ‘Derrière le Miroir’, a significant French art magazine published by Galerie Maeght from 1946 until 1982. Issue no 162 — from which these lithographs are taken — was specifically devoted to the work of Francis Bacon and is notable for being the first publication in which Bacon’s lithographs were published. The issue was limited to 150 copies. These lithographs are from copy 53 and are numbered as such on the bottom left-hand corner.

All lithographs are in fine condition except for the third lithograph in the series which has a faint crease running down the left-hand side of the print.
