Das Plakat (May-July 1918)

May-July 1918  issue of Das Plakat, one of the most important magazines of the early 20th century focusing on poster art and commercial graphic design. This issue included studies of war graphics in France, several illustrated war diaries, and discussions of contemporary artists and poster design. It also features reviews and reports on new artistic works, developments in German poster art, exhibitions and institutions such as the Saxon Art Association, a “Poster of the Month” section, and a commemorative article on Peter Behrens, followed by brief notices. Condition: covers a little worn with some toning.
