The Tate Gallery (Inscribed by John Rothenstein) (1962)

Rothenstein’s excellent account of the history of the Tate Gallery and its collection. With a touching inscription from Rothenstein to former Thames and Hudson editor Pat Longman: “For Pat, Editor (if not the author) of this book with the gratitude of the nominal author John Rothenstein 7.xi.62”. Condition: some light spotting to endpapers, pastedowns and edges of text-block, otherwise very good.
