A striking trio of wood engravings by Rachel Reckitt, originally cut in 1938 for a never-published edition of George Eliot’s The Mill on the Floss. The original blocks were rediscovered in the early 2000s and printed in 2006 for Matrix 26. Edition of 160 on Zerkall mould-made paper, hand-printed in Baskerville and bound in printed wrappers. Condition: Near fine. slight trace of spotting to front panel of printed wrappers.
