Rosie Simmons

Rosie Simmons, a freelance ceramics designer who produces her own ceramic ranges as well as styling and organising the ceramics of Timorous Beasties.

A graduate from Glasgow School of Art, Rosie has an MA in Ceramic Design for Industry from Staffordshire University. She spent five years as a surface pattern designer for Wedgwood and then settled in London to do freelance consultancy work for major retail companies.

Ger designs have a timeless quality, inspired as they often are by Rosie’s rural surroundings, some have delicate subtle décor whilst others display simple decorative repeats, that suit both modern and traditional lifestyles.
