“Dear Ronald, I am greatly flattered and you’re most welcome to use anything you wish from Going to the Wars. Have you a copy? The sequel, A Dinner of Herbs, was more about POW experiences – I will gladly give you both books if it helps. It’s high time we arranged a visit – after Easter? Will try to get the Rolfs, Diana or Manna to bring you!”.
