Part of a notable series known as the Lyons Teashops Lithographs. These lithographs were created to adorn the interiors of Lyons Teashops across the UK from the late 1940s through the 1950s. The initiative aimed to brighten up the teashops’ war-damaged and austere environments with vibrant and engaging artwork. This project, which spanned three series, featured contributions from prominent British artists of the time, including Edward Ardizzone, Edward Bawden, John Piper, and many others. The lithographs not only decorated the teashops but were also available for purchase by the public, allowing art to be more accessible. Each artist was paid for their work and received royalties from the sales of the prints.

Good condition book, some minor damage to boards and wear to edges. Most likely an unique portfolio advertising some of the prints and Teashops
