Paul Nash’s desolate landscapes are amongst the most iconic images of the Western Front. Nash completed ‘A Howitzer Firing’ in 1918 for the Ministry of Information which depicts a scene with four British artillerymen firing a Howitzer gun. They stand beneath a canopy of camouflage netting and to the right a blast of light erupts from the muzzle of the gun. This print is colour matched to the original and approved by the Imperial War Museum. Produced on matt 250gsm conservation digital paper.
