Adam and Paradise Island (Illustrated by Charles Keeping)

Down the river there was a muddy creek with a small island in the middle. The local people called it paradise isle. It wasn’t much of a place but to Adam it was home. Until one day the council decided to knock all the old shops and warehouses down and to build a motorway through it. This is the story of how Adam and the local people fought back.
