Original wrapper designed by Fontana. One of two variant covers issued—the other in fluorescent green—this example printed in fluorescent orange. With Fontana’s minimalist drawing to the front, with several deliberate hand-made incised cuts to the surface. Features Fontana’s text on the “Technical Manifesto” presented at the 1st International Congress of Proportion, IX Triennale, Milan, 1947. Includes the original promotional leaflet, printed in gold on shiny black paper, as issued, intended to be wrapped around the cover. Condition: lower half of front cover heavily dust-marked. Some light edge-wear and light creasing to spine. Some paint marks to pages 38 and 39.
