Boris Mikhailov: Unfinished Dissertation (1998)

Mikhailov compiled photographs depicting everyday life in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and affixed them to the back pages of an unfinished dissertation. Alongside these images, he included fragmentary thoughts, diary-like observations, and quotes from books he had read, offering insights into Soviet society, art, and photography. Condition: dust-wrapper a little worn to edges with one small closed tear to top edge of its rear panel, otherwise very good.
