Original imitation crocodile skin boards tiltled in gilt.  Landscape format.  A superb set of 73 sepia photogravure images providing a vivid look at life in some of the major cities and remote villages of Iraq in the years leading up to its independence from Britain in 1932. Condition: boards worn with some peeling to the imitation crocodile overlay. Small hole to the centre of the front board’s overlay. Some light spotting. small ink mark to bottom edge of text block, otherwise very good.
