Another of Robert’s attacks on Wyndham Lewis and the Tate’s re-presentation of Vorticism as being primarily about him. Roberts felt that the narrative around Vorticism was being skewed to place undue emphasis on Lewis, thereby overshadowing the contributions of other artists within the movement. Includes Robert’s essay ‘Lewis the Leader Legend or How Group Leaders are Made at the Tate Gallery’. Condition: previous owner’s signature and one annotation to inside of front cover, otherwise fine.
