Hardback.  First edition.  A notable feature of Radio Times, Britain’s biggest selling weekly, is the high quality of the drawings which illustrate programme announcements, especially for plays.  In this book RD Usherwood, art editor of Radio Times from 1950 to 1960, brings together in an alphabetical arrangement the work of some 35 illustrators – including Edward Ardizzone, Susan Einzig, Eric Fraser, Leonard Rosoman, and John Minton.  Condition: dust-jacket a little marked, worn and creased.  Previous owners signature to top right corner of front endpaper.  Some light foxing to edges, otherwise very good
