This Notebook of Georges Braque covers a period of thirty years. Ideas of art and life have been noted down in the artist’s own handwriting and in 92 pen and ink drawings. The book was printed originally for the artist’s friends in an edition of less than one hundred copies. Translated by Bernard Frechtman. Supplementary booklet containing the translations of Braque’s texts. Condition: Very good, some rubbing and wear to dust jacket edges, slight foxing on cover. Slight toning to prelims and some marks on inside of dust jacket where tape has been applied.
