Imaging James Joyce’s Ulysses (2002) (Richard Hamilton)

Published to accompany the exhibition ‘Imaging Ulysses: Richard Hamilton’s illustrations to James Joyce’. With an introduction and commentaries by Stephen Coppel. Hamilton spent over five decades exploring ways to visually represent the novel’s chapters, each treated with a unique artistic approach reflecting Joyce’s experimental narrative style. The works include sketches, drawings, etchings, digital prints, and watercolours. Condition: translucent paper wrapper a little tanned. Some faint spotting to edges of text block, otherwise very good.
