Number 38 in the series of titles published by Hanuman Books, a press founded in 1986 by artist Francesco Clemente and American art critic Raymond Foye. The books are notable for their small size, resembling Indian prayer books, and were printed in Madras (now Chennai), India, and distributed from the Chelsea Hotel in New York City. The series features a diverse range of authors, including prominent literary figures like Allen Ginsberg, John Ashbery, Bob Dylan, and visual artists like David Hockney and Willem de Kooning. Condition: some light tanning to rear cover, otherwise very good.
