Seventeen previously unpublished letters by Nash to Oliver Simon, the majority written when they were closely involved in the production by the Curwen Press of Nash’s illustrated edition of Sir Thomas Browne’s Urne Buriall. Other subjects include Nash’s trenchant views on his contemporaries in print-making, his own literary work and the doings of family and friends. Illustrated with two facsimiles: Coronilla 2, “a strange little print I happen to have by me”, and a sheet of Nash’s working directions for Urne Buriall.

100 numbered copies on Somerset paper set in Bembo type printed by Hand and Eye Letterpress. pp. 26. 23.5 x 15.5 cm. Bound in quarter green cloth and Nash-designed Curwen Press boards by the Fine Book Bindery. With a full cloth slipcase.
