In 1918 the Ministry of Information commissioned British Artist Paul Nash to produce this painting of three soldiers waiting in a trench. Behind them remains a grove of trees, some of which are beginning to show new buds, an early sign of spring during the havoc of the First World War. This print is colour matched to the original and approved by the Imperial War Museum. Produced on matt 250gsm conservation digital paper.
