C.R.W. Nevinson was one of the most important, colourful, and talked about artists of his generation. In the turbulent days of pre-World War I London, he gained notoriety as England’s only Futurist, and during the war he produced some of the most memorable and harrowing images of that conflict. This book focuses attention on the pictures painted in England after his three months’ experience of the war in its later phase. With an introductory essay by J.E Crawford Flitch. Complete with Colour Frontispiece signed by Nevinson and 24 Black & White Illustrations. Condition: Quarter grey cloth with grey boards. Condition: boards showing some signs of wear with some light staining and marks to rear panel. Tilting label to spine worn.  neat previous owner’s signature to top right corner of front endpaper. Minimal spotting to front and rear pastedowns, otherwise very good.

In good out of print condition.
