Collection of essays by Virginia Woolf, published posthumously in 1947. Includes a selection of Woolf’s non-fiction work, reflecting her wide-ranging interests, critical insights, and literary style. Essays range from illness to the cinema. Dust-wrapper designed by Vanessa Bell. Condition: Dust-wrapper worn with some toning and discoloration, particularly along the edges. Two small segments missing to top and tail of of dust-wrapper’s spine and some chipping to the edge of front flap.  Red cloth boards show some shelf wear and a faint stain to rear panel. Neat Bookseller stamp to bottom left corner of rear paste-down, otherwise very good.
