“This edition contains thirty-one drawings by John Nash which are perfectly in tune with the classic quality of the book. In his foreword, Mr John Lewis says of Mr Nash, ‘his vision is a pure distillation of the English scene’. We are proud that our edition should be distinguished by his work.” From the library of Ronald Blythe and with with an inscription to him on the front endpaper. Condition: A very light chipping to top and tail of dust-wrapper’s tanned spine. A few brownish marks to dust-wrapper’s rear panel. Endpapers lightly toned, otherwise very good.
