First English edition of Camus’s classic work in stunning original dust-jacket by Edward Bawden.  Very good.  No inscriptions, highlighting or underlining.  Binding strong.  Front and rear panels of dust jacket very slightly foxed and worn with some small segments of loss.  Two small segments of loss to top and tail of dust-wrapper’s spine.  Cloth boards a little toned to edges and corners.  Page edges and margins slightly foxed.  No tape repairs.  Introduction by Cyril Connolly who chose The Outsider as one the key works of modern literature.
