Covers Van Dongen’s developmental period, from his initial works in 1895 to his Fauvist phase by 1912. The catalogue was published in conjunction with exhibitions at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam, the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Lyons, and the Institut Néerlandais in Paris between 1996 and 1997. Condition: slight shelf-wear and covers and a faint touch of spotting to top edge of text-block, otherwise very good.
