The Wood-Engravings of Robert Gibbings (1949)

This biographical and critical account of Gibbings, the first book to be written about him, is illustrated with more than a hundred engravings, which have been selected to cover every aspect of his work during more than thirty years, and also contains a complete list of the books in which his work has first appeared. Condition: Dust-wrapper slightly foxed and a little edge-worn with a small segment missing to the top right corner of its front panel. Light foxing to edges of text-block, endpapers and prelims, otherwise very good.
