Inscribed to Ronald Blythe from Marie Stopes: “Ronald Blythe this book from the autheor, Marie C Stopes 18 March 1954”. “The title of the book derives from the poem ‘We Burn’ because Gregorio Prieto’s illustration of this seems to ne the most profound and beautiful of all his wonderful pictures’.

Condition: lacks dust-wrapper. Orange cloth boards a little dulled and marked with some light rubbing and wear to extremities.
