Catalogue for a show of Winifred Nicholson’s work at the Crane Kalman Gallery in 1972. Includes PG Konody’s essay ‘Berthe Morisot and Winifred Nicholson’ and Winifred’s ‘I Shut My Eyes’, in which she discusses the meaning of colour in her work. This was Ben Nicholson’s personal copy and he has initialled it to the top left corner of the title page. Nicholson has also tipped-in an extra illustration of a work by Winifred to the inside of the rear cover. Condition: very good.
