Published by the Fleece Press in 1996 as a limited-edition volume. This copy is one of 30 bound in quarter vellum and containing a loose print made by Gwen Raverat, Jeu de boules, Vence 1922.  The print is housed in a pocket inside the rear board. Printed in Scotch Roman type by Peter J. Sanderson at the Whittington Press. Folio with a quarter vellum spine featuring gilt lettering, paired with marbled paper-covered boards made by Smith Settle. Presented in a linen clamshell box. Provides an in-depth exploration of Gwen Raverat’s contributions to wood engraving, including her techniques and experimentation with colour.  Features a complete catalogue of her engravings and a bibliography of books and ephemera she illustrated. Condition: A couple of marks to exterior of clamshell case, otherwise fine.
