The story of Harlan Childress, an American colonel stationed in Algiers, who has to choose between two women.  First edition.  Housed in stunning dust-jacket designed by John Minton.  No inscriptions, highlighting or underlining.  Green cloth boards a little worn to edges and very small patch of sunning to bottom of spine.  Some slight foxing.  Dust-jacket’s rear panel slightly foxed and with some wear to top and tail of spine.
