Bowaters was handling more than 1 million tons of raw materials and finished products by sea.

Features illustrations by mid-century British illustrators as well as photographs and diagrams. Also includes a number of tactile textured papers. Chapter headings include: ‘Typography Means more than Layout’ and ‘Thomas Bewick’.
